Answered.

By Sarah Davis

Your hearing about Twitter from every direction and all your associates are telling you that you better start tweeting or you'll miss out. A friend says, do you want to connect on Twitter? Someone else asks, can I add you to Twitter, and all you could think to say was I don't have a Twitter account.

Well, your friend remarks, you better start tweeting, it's the latest way to share information, promote your business, connect with new
people, and share ideas. So, what are you to-do? Your already over-loaded and you don't know what Twitter is all about, or, if you really want one more thing on your to-do list.

Three simple steps to
Tweeting with a purpose

Step 1. Go to www.Twitter.com and set-up an account.

Step 2. Add all your friends and clients/ customers that have unlimited texting to your list. (And, have giving you permission to add them.)

Step 3. Tweet (enter your message and submit) once to four times each month about networking events you will be attending. (go to your Twitter account and say something like "Huge Networking at the Chamber June 15th at 5pm. Make sure you find me to say HI" in your own words.)

You now are on your way to being an expert on tweeting and growing your following.
Enjoy your easy start-up and get creative!

Any data you can't afford to lose must be backed up in some way. There is no way around this. If you lose your data without it being backed up elsewhere, you will not be able to regain the lost data quickly. Any data you can't afford to lose must be backed up in some way. There is no way around this. If you lose your data without it being backed up elsewhere, you will not be able to regain the lost data quickly.

Here is a comparison of backup methods to help you decide which best fits your needs:

External Harddrive: These allow you to back up data on an external piece of equipment that can then be stored away from your computer. For example, back up your laptop data, leave the harddrive at home while you are on a business trip with your laptop. If something happens to your laptop on the road, your data is safe at the office.

Tape Backup: These allow you to back up data on an external piece of equipment that can then be stored away from your computer.
Flash Drives, CDs, DVDs: These allow you to back up data on an external piece of equipment that can then be stored away from your computer. For example, back up your laptop data, leave the harddrive at home while you are on a business trip with your laptop. If something happens to your laptop on the road, your data is safe at the office.

When Should You Back-up Your Files?

For additional peace of mind on your most important data, back up important files in two places. Example: While your automated tape backup runs every night, also backup your most important files on an external harddrive. This way, if a file gets corrupted or lost on your computer and the tape backup, you have a third backup. While a file has the chance of being corrupted on both computer and your primary backup, it is very rare that a file will get corrupted or lost if it is in three different places.

To sign up for this blog, enter your e-mail address and click on subscribe (bottom left).

Welcome

Welcome to KDandC's blog.
